Catford Map Poster & Print
Catford is a district in the London Borough of Lewisham, in south-east London. On a map, its centre is a junction. The South Circular Road bends through the town centre, the main roads toward Lewisham and Bromley cross it, and two railway lines run through close together, with stations at Catford and Catford Bridge only a short walk apart.
Water shows up too, though you might not notice it on the ground. The River Ravensbourne and its tributary the Pool River run through the area in green corridors, and Ladywell Fields and the Riverview Walk follow their banks. Around the centre, long terraces of Victorian and Edwardian houses fill the grid-like streets that slope gently up toward Forest Hill and Hither Green.
Catford has some well-known local landmarks: the art deco Broadway Theatre and the large fibreglass cat that has watched over the shopping centre since the 1970s. A Catford map poster captures the district's structure: the curve of the South Circular, the parallel rail lines, the thin green river strips and the dense terraced streets that make up so much of south London.

Twin railway lines
Two separate rail lines pass through Catford, with Catford and Catford Bridge stations close together, and they show up as parallel lines slicing through the terraces.
Ravensbourne green corridor
The Ravensbourne and Pool rivers wind through narrow parks and riverside walks, giving the map a soft green thread between the built-up blocks.

Hvorfor Catford
Et kort, der betyder noget
Catford is often a first London home, a place people rent, buy their first flat in or raise children. A map of those streets works as a record of a particular chapter, whether you are still there or have moved on.
Personalise the title, the subtitle and the coordinates line with a postcode, a move-in date or a street name. Choose one of five styles, then download the $9 HD files or order a matte print, with an optional wooden frame, from a local print partner.
