Angra dos Reis Map Poster & Print
Angra dos Reis sits on a deeply indented stretch of coast between Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo, and few places look more intricate from above. The mainland breaks into coves, headlands and small beaches, while the bay is scattered with islands, the largest being Ilha Grande. The town itself occupies narrow strips of flat land between the water and the steep slopes of the Serra do Mar.
The city was founded by the Portuguese in the early sixteenth century, and its name refers to the Three Kings, after the feast of Epiphany. The Rio–Santos highway threads along the shoreline, linking the scattered neighbourhoods, and the port and shipyard occupy part of the waterfront. Further along the coast stands Brazil's only nuclear power plant.
An Angra dos Reis map poster turns this complex meeting of land and sea into a detailed, almost lace-like image. The streets are few, but the coastline and islands give the composition endless variety, which makes it one of the most rewarding coastal prints.

Warum Angra dos Reis
Eine Karte mit Bedeutung
A map of Angra dos Reis recalls boat trips between islands, a beach house on a quiet cove, or a childhood by the bay. The coastline alone is enough to make it recognisable.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates, perhaps with the name of a favourite beach or the date of a trip. Choose among Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand, as HD files or a printed poster.
