Blanes Map Poster & Print
Blanes sits where the Costa Brava begins. Traditionally, the coast is said to start at Sa Palomera, a rocky outcrop that stands out into the sea from the town's beach. On the map, the long curve of the main beach sweeps up to that point. The old town packs its streets tightly behind the shoreline, and newer neighbourhoods spread inland and to the south.
To the south, the Tordera river reaches the sea across a flat, open delta, where the land turns into fields and campsites. To the north, the coast becomes steeper and more broken, with coves and pine-covered slopes. The Marimurtra botanical garden sits on the cliffs above the sea. Every summer the town holds a well-known international fireworks competition over the bay.
A Blanes map poster shows the moment where a gentle sandy coast turns into the rocky one that gives the Costa Brava its name. In black and white, the smooth beach line, the knot of old streets and the more jagged shoreline to the north make a balanced composition.

Tordera delta
South of town, the Tordera river reaches the sea across flat land. On the map it creates an open area that sets off the denser streets of Blanes.
Northern headlands
Beyond the harbour, the shore breaks up into coves and steep wooded slopes, where the botanical gardens look out over the water.

Warum Blanes
Eine Karte mit Bedeutung
Blanes is a place many people return to summer after summer, and a map of it holds the memory of the beach, the harbour and the evening fireworks. It suits holiday memories as well as homes on the coast.
You can edit the title, subtitle and coordinates line to mark a particular summer or a family name. The five styles are Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Sand makes an easy match for a seaside room.
