Central Point sits in the Rogue Valley of southern Oregon, immediately northwest of Medford and within the same urban area. It lies just off Interstate 5. On a map its core is a regular grid of streets. Newer neighbourhoods spread outward in curves and loops toward orchards and fields.
Bear Creek runs along the town's eastern side, bordered by a greenway path and tree-lined banks that appear as a winding band on the map. The Jackson County Expo grounds take up a large block on the east side of town. Farmland and the valley's foothills frame the town, giving the poster a clear sense of a place on the valley floor.
