River confluence
The Cutzamala meets the Balsas near the town, and the two channels curve around the urban area. They are the defining shapes of the map.

Die Karte
Ciudad Altamirano Map Poster & Print
Ciudad Altamirano stands in the Tierra Caliente region of Guerrero, near the point where the Cutzamala river joins the Balsas. On a map, water sets the frame: river channels, sandbanks and floodplain border the town, and the street grid fills the land between them. Bridges link it to the settlements on the opposite banks.
The town is the seat of the municipality of Pungarabato and serves as a commercial centre for the surrounding valley, which is known for its heat and farming. Around the urban area, the map opens into irrigated fields and the low hills that edge the Balsas depression. Roads leave toward Michoacán and the State of Mexico.
A Ciudad Altamirano map poster brings out the relationship between town and rivers. The wide, braided channels make strong white shapes against the grid, and the bridges add small, precise details. It suits anyone who grew up in Tierra Caliente or who moved north and wants to keep the valley close.

Bridges
Crossings over the wide rivers connect Ciudad Altamirano with neighbouring communities, and they appear as fine, straight lines spanning open water.
Valley farmland
Irrigated fields spread across the floodplain beyond the streets, giving the edges of the print a looser pattern of plots and rural tracks.
