Dagomys Map Poster & Print
Dagomys is a resort district of Greater Sochi, where the Dagomys River meets the Black Sea. Like much of this coast, it is shaped by the collision of mountains and sea. A short strip of flat land at the river mouth holds the railway, the coast road and the beach, and the valley leads inland between steep, wooded hills. Streets fan out where the valley widens and then climb in bends up the slopes.
The area is known for tea. Dagomys has some of the most northerly tea plantations in the world, and its name is well known across Russia through the tea sold under it. The plantations lie on the hills above the settlement, and the valley also holds a large resort hotel complex built in the Soviet era.
A Dagomys map poster shows all of this in clear outline: the curve of the shore, the river cutting inland, the roads bending around the terrain. The hills become calm open space in the design, and the valley floor gathers the streets together. It is a coastal composition with more depth than a simple beachfront.

Tea country slopes
The hills behind the settlement are known for their tea plantations. On the map they appear as wide spaces crossed by thin, winding roads.
Seafront strip
A narrow band of beach, railway and coast road runs along the shore. It forms the firm lower edge of the poster.

Warum Dagomys
Eine Karte mit Bedeutung
Dagomys is where many families spent their summers: sea in the morning, a walk up the valley in the afternoon, tea in the evening. A map is a lasting and understated reminder of those holidays.
Add a title, a year or a family name in the subtitle, and edit the coordinates line. Blueprint suits the coastline. Sand and Paper echo the warm southern light. Classic black & white keeps the valley's shape clean and clear.
