Atlantic shoreline
A long, gently curved beach defines the western and northern edge of the town, giving the map a clean coastal line where the street pattern meets open water.

Mohammedia Map Poster & Print
Mohammedia stretches along Morocco's Atlantic coast between Casablanca and Rabat, and from above it is shaped by the shoreline. A long curve of beach runs beside the town, while a port with breakwaters and industrial installations projects into the sea. The coastline gives the map a strong edge, with the city spreading inland in a band of streets behind it.
The centre is laid out in fairly regular blocks, a legacy of its development in the twentieth century, when it was known as Fedala. Beyond the core, residential districts extend inland, and larger industrial zones sit near the harbour. Rail and road lines run parallel to the coast, tying the city into the corridor between Morocco's two largest urban areas.
Renamed in 1960 in honour of King Mohammed V, the city is known for its port, its oil refinery and its beaches, which draw weekend visitors from Casablanca. A Mohammedia map poster shows a coastal town that balances industry and leisure along one continuous stretch of shore.

The port
Breakwaters and quays extend into the Atlantic, forming angular shapes that contrast with the soft curve of the beach and mark the city's role as an industrial harbour.
Coastal corridor
Road and rail lines run parallel to the coast toward Casablanca and Rabat, drawing long straight lines that connect the city to its larger neighbours.
