Mudanya Map Poster & Print
Mudanya lies on the southern shore of the Sea of Marmara in Bursa Province, serving as the city of Bursa's gateway to the sea. The map shows a town stretched along the coast, with a waterfront road and piers at its edge and streets climbing inland up the slopes behind. Olive groves and newer residential districts extend east and west along the shore.
Mudanya holds an important place in modern Turkish history: the Armistice of Mudanya was signed here in October 1922, bringing an end to the fighting of the Turkish War of Independence. The building where it was signed is now a museum. The town also preserves old stone and timber houses, and ferries link it across the Marmara to Istanbul.
A Mudanya map poster balances land and sea. The long, clean line of the coast, the piers reaching into the water and the dense old streets behind them produce a composition with a clear horizon. It suits anyone who has spent summers on this shore or taken the ferry across from Istanbul.

Ferry piers
Piers extend from the shore into the sea, small but striking details that recall the town's role as Bursa's link to Istanbul by water.
Hillside old quarter
Behind the coast, older streets rise in a tighter, irregular pattern where historic houses remain, contrasting with the straighter newer districts along the shore.
