Laguna de Bay
The lake fills much of the frame to the west. Its broad, calm surface gives the poster a strong, simple base line along the shore.

Pangil Map Poster & Print
Pangil is on the eastern shore of Laguna de Bay, the largest lake in the Philippines, in the province of Laguna. The town is a narrow strip between the water and the rising land to the east. From above, the main road runs parallel to the shore, and short streets lead down toward the lake on one side and up toward the hills on the other.
Pangil lies between the neighbouring towns of Pakil and Siniloan, and the chain of lakeshore settlements forms an almost continuous line along the coast road. Behind the town, the terrain climbs into the forested foothills of the Sierra Madre. Streams run down to the lake and cross the street pattern at short intervals.
A Pangil map poster is defined by the long edge of the lake. The large, smooth expanse of Laguna de Bay fills one side of the frame. On the other side, the finer lines of streets, streams and hill roads show a town caught between water and mountain.

The coast road
The main road follows the shoreline and links Pangil with Pakil and Siniloan. It forms the backbone of the town and the clearest line on the map.
Rising foothills
To the east, the land climbs toward the Sierra Madre. Roads grow sparse and winding there, and the map loosens into steeper, greener terrain.
