Die Karte
Rioblanco Map Poster & Print
Rioblanco lies in the far south of Tolima, on the eastern flank of Colombia's Central Cordillera. The municipality is mostly mountain country. The town is a compact settlement in a valley, and roads leave it in switchbacks as they climb towards farms and hamlets higher up.
From above, the town's regular blocks look small against everything around them. Streams cut down through the terrain, and the rural roads follow the contours rather than straight lines. That contrast between a tidy centre and the loose, winding network outside it gives the map its character.
A Rioblanco map poster brings that geography down to its essentials: the orderly squares of the town, the watercourses that shaped the valley, and the thin roads threading out into the hills. Farming, including coffee on the slopes, is the backbone of the local economy. It is a map of a working mountain town, drawn without embellishment.

Mountain roads
Roads leaving town bend repeatedly as they gain height, drawing long, looping lines that hint at the steepness of the Central Cordillera.
Streams and ravines
Water runs down through the valley in narrow courses. On the map they show as fine lines branching through the surrounding terrain.

Warum Rioblanco
Eine Karte mit Bedeutung
For people from southern Tolima, or those who have family on its coffee slopes, Rioblanco is a specific and personal place. A clean map of the town and its valley works as a reminder of home, especially for anyone now living far from the mountains.
The title, subtitle and coordinates line are all editable, so you can add a family name or a meaningful date. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Blueprint suits the winding roads especially well.
