Island-dotted coast
Small islands and islets are scattered off the Roxas shoreline. On the poster they become crisp outlined shapes in open water that frame the mainland and draw the eye out to sea.

Roxas Map Poster & Print
Roxas occupies part of the northeastern coast of Palawan. On a map it reads mostly as coastline. The shore bends in and out around bays and headlands, and small islands sit offshore in the Sulu Sea. The town centre is a modest cluster of streets by the water. Further out, the settlements get smaller and spread along the main road as it follows the coast.
Inland the terrain rises into hills and forest, and the street network thins almost to nothing. The main north–south highway on Palawan passes through the municipality and connects Roxas with Puerto Princesa to the south and with towns further north. The result is an unusual poster. Most of it is sea, islands and open land, with a thread of road and a few small grids of streets.
A Roxas map poster works because of that balance between land and water. The irregular coastline and the islands give the sheet its shape, and the town itself is a small, precise detail within it. For anyone who has travelled along this coast, the map shows how the place actually feels from the road and from the boat: open, green and closely tied to the sea.

Bays and headlands
The coast twists in and out, with sheltered bays between rocky points. This irregular edge is the strongest line on the map and makes a composition no straight coastline could.
The coastal highway
One main road runs along this side of Palawan and links Roxas with its neighbours. It threads through the settlements and stitches the whole municipality together in a single long line.

Warum Roxas
Eine Karte mit Bedeutung
Some people hang a map of Roxas because they have family on this coast. Others keep one as a record of a trip across Palawan, a stay on one of the islands or a place they intend to come back to. Its outline is uncomplicated and memorable, and suits a calm room.
The title, subtitle and coordinates line can be changed to show a family name, the dates of a journey or the precise spot that matters to you. The map is available in five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand.
