Ruzayevka Map Poster & Print
Ruzayevka lies in the Republic of Mordovia, a short distance from the regional capital Saransk, and its map is dominated by the railway. Lines arrive from several directions and meet in a large junction with extensive yards, and the town's neighbourhoods sit in the wedges of land between them, connected by crossings and bridges.
The town grew as a railway settlement and remains an important junction in the Volga region's rail network, with much local employment tied to the lines. Around the tracks there are quarters of low wooden houses, Soviet-era apartment blocks and industrial areas, and beyond them the forest and farmland of central Russia.
A Ruzayevka map poster makes the railway the protagonist. The yards appear as bundles of parallel lines, the streets fan out between them, and the countryside softens the edges. For anyone who has worked on the railway or grown up beside it, the composition will be immediately familiar and quietly personal.

Divided quarters
The rails separate the town into distinct districts, each with its own street pattern, connected by a limited number of crossings and bridges.
Mixed street fabric
Low-rise lanes of private houses sit next to regular Soviet apartment blocks, so the texture of the map shifts noticeably from one quarter to the next.
