Srimangal Map Poster & Print
Srimangal, in the Moulvibazar district of Sylhet Division, is often called the tea capital of Bangladesh. The town sits on low ground among gentle hills, and on a map it is surrounded by the large, regular blocks of tea estates. Their internal roads and divisions give the countryside an ordered look that contrasts with the town's compact streets.
The railway between Dhaka and Sylhet passes through town, and much of Srimangal's layout follows the station and the main roads leading out toward the estates. A short distance away lies Lawachara National Park, a stretch of hill forest known for its birds and primates, crossed by the same rail line.
A Srimangal map poster brings together the three textures that define the area: the small, dense town, the geometric plantations with their estate tracks, and the softer outlines of forest and streams. Visitors often remember the layered tea poured at local stalls. The map records the landscape where that tea is grown.

Railway through town
The line linking Dhaka and Sylhet runs through Srimangal. It gives the map a long, steady line that the station area and main streets are arranged around.
Lawachara forest
Nearby hill forest appears as a quieter, less structured area on the map. The railway runs through it before reaching the tea gardens.

Warum Srimangal
Eine Karte mit Bedeutung
For people who have travelled to the tea country or who grew up among the estates, this map is a reminder of green hills, early trains and cups of tea by the roadside. It is a subtle piece for a kitchen, a study or a reading corner.
The title, subtitle and coordinates line can all be personalised, for example with a garden name or the date of a visit. Choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Paper brings out the fine lines of the estates.
