Villajoyosa Map Poster & Print
Villajoyosa, known in Valencian as La Vila Joiosa, is a coastal town in the province of Alicante, on the Costa Blanca between Alicante and Benidorm. It is known for the brightly painted houses of its old quarter, which face the sea in a row of colours. It also has a long tradition of chocolate making, which continues in local factories today.
On the map, the old town forms a dense cluster of narrow streets on a rise near the mouth of the Amadorio river, with the beach stretched out below. Newer districts extend inland and along the coast in more regular blocks, and a harbour sits at one end of the seafront. Beyond the town, hills and orchards climb away from the shore.
A Villajoyosa map poster brings the curve of the coast, the line of the river and the tight pattern of the historic quarter into one view. It suits people who spend their summers here, those who have settled on the Costa Blanca and anyone who remembers the painted facades along the shore.

Amadorio river mouth
The Amadorio river reaches the Mediterranean beside the old town. This thin line divides the coast and marks the historic edge of the settlement.
Seafront and harbour
A long beach and promenade follow the curve of the coast, with a working harbour at one end. Together they give the poster a strong, clean shoreline.
