Irrigation channels
Narrow canals and ditches cross the surrounding plain, forming a delicate network of lines that shows how the land has long been watered and farmed.

Ağdaş Map Poster & Print
Ağdaş lies in central Azerbaijan, on the broad lowland between the foothills of the Greater Caucasus and the Kura river. This is flat, fertile country, shaped by centuries of irrigation. From above, the town is a dense cluster of streets surrounded by a patchwork of fields and gardens, with canals and ditches drawing thin lines across the plain.
The town serves as the centre of its district, and its layout reflects that role: a small core of administrative streets, then residential quarters where houses sit within walled gardens and orchards. Roads leave the centre in several directions toward villages and neighbouring district towns, running long and straight across the level ground.
An Ağdaş map poster draws out the relationship between the town and the cultivated land around it. Streets give way to field boundaries and water channels, and the eye moves easily from one to the other. It is a calm, even composition, fitting for a place whose landscape has been patiently worked into shape over generations.

Garden quarters
Residential streets are lined with houses set in their own plots and orchards, giving the outer parts of town a looser, more open texture.
Straight plain roads
Roads to nearby villages run across the flat lowland in long, direct lines, a strong contrast to the tighter streets of the centre.

For people from Ağdaş living in Baku or further afield, a map of the home town is a quiet link to family and to the land around it. The poster presents the streets and fields plainly, without sentiment, which often makes it more personal.
You can set the title in any language you like, add a subtitle such as a family name, and keep or edit the coordinates line. Paper and Sand bring a warmth that suits the agricultural setting.
