Wadi bed
A dry riverbed runs past the town and shaped its history, including the 1904 flood. On the poster it traces a soft line along the built-up area.

Aïn Sefra Map Poster & Print
Aïn Sefra lies in the Ksour Mountains, part of the Saharan Atlas in western Algeria. The town occupies a valley between rocky ridges, and a large dune rises right beside the built-up area. On a map, streets are concentrated along the valley floor and the main road, while the dry bed of the wadi and the open desert terrain define the edges of the town.
The town is linked with the writer Isabelle Eberhardt, who died here in 1904 when a flash flood swept through the wadi. More recently, Aïn Sefra became known for rare snowfalls that covered its dunes, producing widely shared images of snow on sand. Both stories come back to the same setting: a desert town on the edge of mountains, exposed to sudden changes in weather.
An Aïn Sefra map poster shows this clearly. The gridded neighbourhoods and main roads form a compact centre, and around them the map opens into mostly empty space, broken only by the wadi and roads leading out across the plateau. In black and white, the design suits the stark setting, with plenty of room left around the town itself.

Dunes at the edge
Sand dunes sit right next to the town, so the street pattern ends abruptly where desert begins, leaving a clean edge on the map.
Mountain valley
The town lies in a valley of the Ksour Mountains, and roads leave it through gaps in the ridges, giving the layout a clear sense of direction.
