Converging tracks
A handful of unpaved roads and tracks meet at the town, forming a simple star-like pattern that is the main structure of the poster.

Antsalova Map Poster & Print
Antsalova lies in the Melaky region of western Madagascar, one of the most thinly populated parts of the island. The town itself is small and informal, a cluster of streets and tracks rather than a planned grid, surrounded by grassland, wetlands and watercourses. The population figure usually quoted also includes the wider rural area around the town.
The town is best known as a gateway to the northern part of the Tsingy de Bemaraha, the UNESCO-listed limestone plateau famous for its razor-sharp pinnacles. The area also has a series of lakes and wetlands that are important for birds. Roads here are unpaved and often difficult in the rainy season, which keeps the region remote.
An Antsalova map poster is sparse by nature. A few tracks meet at the town, lakes appear as bold shapes, and much of the frame stays open. That emptiness is the point: it conveys the scale and isolation of western Madagascar better than a crowded city plan could.

Lakes and wetlands
Lakes and marshes in the surrounding region appear as solid, irregular shapes, adding visual weight to an otherwise open and lightly drawn landscape.
Tsingy country
The town is an access point for the northern Tsingy de Bemaraha, and the frame suggests the edge of the wild limestone country that draws travellers here.

ག་ཅི་འབད་ Antsalova
དོན་དག་ཡོད་པའི་ས་ཁྲ།
Antsalova is a meaningful place for people from Melaky and for travellers who made the long overland journey toward the Tsingy. A map marks that effort, and its sparse lines have an unusual graphic quality on the wall.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, perhaps with Tsingy de Bemaraha or the dates of a trip. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Sand in particular suits the dry, open landscape of the west.
