Arenillas Map Poster & Print
Arenillas is a town in the El Oro province of southern Ecuador, in the coastal lowlands not far from the border with Peru. From above, its centre is a regular grid of blocks laid out in the Spanish American tradition, with a main square and church at the heart and straight streets running outward in each direction.
The land around the town is flat and largely agricultural, crossed by the course of the Arenillas River and by roads linking the town with Machala, Huaquillas and the border. To the west lies the Arenillas ecological reserve, an area of dry forest and scrub that shows on a map as a large expanse with few lines crossing it.
An Arenillas map poster presents a tidy urban grid framed by open country. The regular blocks read clearly in black and white, while the river and the reserve give the composition softer edges, showing a town that sits between the busy border corridor and the quieter protected land nearby.
