Arifwala Map Poster & Print
Arifwala lies in Pakpattan District in the Punjab province of Pakistan, on the flat alluvial plain that stretches across much of the region. The land around the town is intensively farmed, and the map shows a compact urban centre surrounded by fields cut through by irrigation channels and rural roads.
The town serves as a local market and service centre for the surrounding agricultural area. Its streets are densest near the centre and thin out quickly toward the edges, where villages and farmland take over. The regular lines of canals and field boundaries give the countryside its own geometry.
An Arifwala map poster keeps the focus on this relationship between town and land. In black and white, the compact centre and the straight lines of the surrounding plain make a clear, understated print, a personal map of a place that rarely appears on posters.
