Batha riverbed
The seasonal river runs past the town as a wide channel that stays dry for much of the year, drawn as a broad band along the settlement's edge.

Ati Map Poster & Print
Ati is the capital of the Batha province in central Chad, set beside the Batha, a seasonal river that flows after the summer rains toward Lake Fitri. The town stands in the Sahel, where the land shifts between dry savanna and semi-desert, and its map reflects that open setting: broad, straight tracks, large blocks and plenty of space between them.
From above, the plan is loose and horizontal. Main roads cross the town and lead out across the plain, residential compounds form rough rectangles, and administrative and market areas create denser patches near the centre. The riverbed itself appears as a wide, braided band that sets a natural limit on one side of the settlement.
As a regional hub, Ati serves herding and farming communities across Batha, and the road through the town links it with N'Djamena to the west and Abéché to the east. An Ati map poster shows a town defined by space and distance, with simple lines that read clearly in any of the five styles.

Open grid of tracks
Wide, straight streets divide the town into large, loosely filled blocks, a spacious pattern shaped by sandy ground and room to expand in every direction.
Roads across the Sahel
Routes leave the town in long lines across the plain, tying Ati to villages across Batha and to the main road between N'Djamena and Abéché.

དོན་དག་ཡོད་པའི་ས་ཁྲ།
The simplicity of Ati's plan is part of its appeal: a few strong lines, a riverbed and a wide margin of open land. For anyone who has lived or worked in Batha, it is a clear and personal record of the place.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, and choose Sand for a warm tone or Noir for strong contrast, among five styles that also include Classic black & white, Paper and Blueprint. A free 900 px preview lets you check the result before buying the HD files.
