Highway spine
The road between Etawah and Kanpur passes through the town and forms the clearest line on the map, with the busiest streets and market lanes gathered close along both sides.

Auraiya Map Poster & Print
Seen from above, Auraiya is a tight knot of lanes set on one of the flattest landscapes in northern India. The town grew along the main road running between Etawah and Kanpur, and that line still reads clearly through the middle of the map. Smaller streets branch off it at irregular angles and fill the blocks between with a dense, fine-grained pattern.
Around the built-up core the map opens quickly into farmland crossed by field tracks, irrigation channels and scattered village clusters. The Yamuna runs to the south of the town, and the land between it and the Ganges further north is the doab, a fertile plain. Auraiya became the headquarters of its own district in the late 1990s, when it was separated from Etawah.
An Auraiya map poster shows a town whose shape comes from roads and water, not from monuments. In black and white you can see the ribbon of the highway, the denser grain of the old market streets, and the thinner lines where settlement gives way to open fields. It is a quiet, legible composition that suits a hallway or a study.

Dense old lanes
Near the centre the street pattern turns tight and irregular. Short lanes and small blocks produce a darker patch of ink that stands out against the open land around it.
Doab farmland
Beyond the edge of town the plain is laid out in fields, tracks and canal lines. The Yamuna lies to the south, and the whole setting is almost perfectly flat.

For people who grew up in Auraiya or have family there, the map is a direct link to a place that rarely turns up in print. The street pattern is instantly recognisable to anyone who has walked it, and in this format it becomes a calm, graphic piece for the wall.
You can set the title, subtitle and coordinates line yourself, for example adding a family name or a year that matters. Pick one of five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Then download the HD files or order a printed poster.
