Babrāla Map Poster & Print
Babrāla lies in the Sambhal district of western Uttar Pradesh, not far from the Ganga. The land is flat and fertile, part of the upper Gangetic plain. On the map, two quite different patterns sit side by side: the irregular lanes of the older settlement and the orderly roads and blocks of a planned industrial township.
The town is best known for the Tata Chemicals fertiliser plant, which transformed Babrāla from a rural settlement into an industrial centre. The plant and its residential colony, with straight roads, uniform housing and green spaces, form a clear rectangular area on the map, easily distinguished from the organic streets nearby.
A Babrāla map poster brings out this contrast in black and white. The regular geometry of the township, the looser weave of the older lanes and the surrounding fields create an image with real structure, and it tells the story of how the place came to be.

Older settlement
The original town and nearby villages have narrow, winding lanes. Their irregular texture contrasts with the orderly township and adds depth to the composition.
Gangetic plain
Flat farmland extends in every direction, with the Ganga not far away. Field boundaries and rural roads give the edges of the map a light, open pattern.
