Hillside streets
Residential roads climb and curve over the uneven ground. They create a detailed, organic pattern across much of the map.

Baguim do Monte Map Poster & Print
Baguim do Monte is a parish in the municipality of Gondomar, on the northeastern edge of the Porto metropolitan area. It sits on rising ground above the valleys that lead toward the Douro. The map shows a mix of older lanes, newer residential streets and apartment blocks, arranged around several main roads rather than a single central square.
Like much of the area around Porto, the parish grew from farmland and small settlements into a suburb as the city expanded outward. Traces of that history remain in the irregular pattern of streets. Winding old roads follow property lines and slopes. Newer developments add small rectilinear blocks, and scattered green spaces and fields still separate some neighbourhoods.
A Baguim do Monte map poster gives a detailed picture of everyday suburban Portugal. It has no famous landmarks, but it does have a dense, intricate street network shaped by hills, old routes and modern growth. The result is a finely textured map that is rewarding to look at up close.

Main road corridors
Several main roads cross the parish and link it to Porto, Gondomar and Maia. They are the clearest lines through the dense fabric.
Green gaps
Remnant fields and wooded patches still lie between some neighbourhoods. They break up the density and give the poster room to breathe.
