Balapulang Map Poster & Print
Balapulang is in Tegal Regency, in the western part of Central Java, where the coastal plain rises gradually toward the island's volcanic interior. From above, it is not a single compact grid but a network of roads lined with houses, connecting villages that merge into one another. Between them, rice fields fill almost every open space.
The pattern is typical of rural Java: settlement follows the roads and waterways, and the fields are divided into small, irregular paddies fed by irrigation channels. On the map, this produces a delicate texture, with thin lines of lanes set against the larger quiet areas of cultivated land.
A Balapulang map poster captures that interweaving of village and field. There is no dramatic landmark to centre on, but the spread of roads and the fine irrigation network make a composition that looks rich and considered when printed. It works well for anyone who knows the area and wants its everyday landscape on the wall.
