Main road spine
The settlement lines up along one principal road. Houses and plots sit on both sides, forming a long, narrow shape instead of a compact block.

Ban Laongam Map Poster & Print
Ban Laongam is the main town of Lao Ngam district in Salavan Province, southern Laos. It sits where the lowlands begin to rise towards the Bolaven Plateau. The map is sparse and open: a short stretch of main road with houses along it, a handful of side lanes, and wide spaces of field and woodland between.
That sparseness is what makes it interesting on a poster. There is no dense centre and no grid. The street pattern follows the ground: tracks run out to villages and plots, small streams leave their marks, and the settlement spreads along the road rather than clustering around a square.
A Ban Laongam map poster is a portrait of rural southern Laos, drawn at a scale where every lane counts. The wider plateau is known for its coffee growing and cooler climate. The town itself is best seen as it is: a working market centre for the farms and villages around it.

Plateau edge
Ban Laongam lies where the lowlands meet the rising Bolaven Plateau, so the lanes around it bend with the ground rather than following straight lines.
Open space
Large areas of farmland and forest leave generous white space on the poster, which gives the few drawn lines of the town real weight.
