Bandar-e Gaz Map Poster & Print
Bandar-e Gaz lies in the west of Golestan Province, on the southern edge of Gorgan Bay, a shallow lagoon enclosed from the Caspian Sea by the long, narrow Miankaleh peninsula. On the map, water fills the northern part of the frame, while the town's streets spread across flat coastal land that rises gradually toward the wooded slopes of the Alborz to the south.
The town has a small harbour and has long been tied to fishing and trade on the bay, with farmland around it. Its road network is organised along the main coastal highway running east to west, with a looser pattern of streets branching toward the shore and the fields. The wetlands around the bay are an important stopover for migratory birds.
A Bandar-e Gaz map poster is defined by its edge: the soft shoreline of the bay, the thin line of the peninsula beyond, and the town pressed between water and hills. It is a fitting keepsake for people from Golestan and Mazandaran, and for anyone who knows this quiet corner of the Caspian coast.

Miankaleh peninsula
The long sandy spit that separates the bay from the open Caspian appears as a thin line across the water, one of the most striking natural shapes on this coast.
Coastal highway axis
The main road running east to west along the plain organises the town, with residential streets and farm roads branching north toward the bay and south toward the hills.
