Batouri Map Poster & Print
Batouri is the main town of the Kadey department in Cameroon's East Region, a sparsely populated area of forest and savanna near the border with the Central African Republic. On a map it looks like a loose network of roads over gently rolling ground. The main routes cross near the centre, and the neighbourhoods spread out along them.
The area around Batouri is known for artisanal gold mining, which draws workers from across the region and shapes the local economy. Much of that activity takes place outside the town, so the map mostly shows the settlement itself, with its markets, administrative quarter and residential lanes set among green space.
A Batouri map poster shows a town that has grown along its roads. Streets thin out toward the edges and then stop against open ground. That line between built area and wider landscape is the main feature of the composition, and it gives an honest picture of a regional centre in eastern Cameroon.

Road-led growth
Neighbourhoods stretch outward along the main routes, giving the map a star-like outline rather than a solid, rounded urban shape.
Open surroundings
Beyond the last streets the map falls quiet, representing the forest and savanna that surround the town on every side.
