Tisa riverfront
The river curves along the eastern edge of the town, with a bridge towards Novi Bečej. Its broad, meandering line gives the map a strong natural boundary.

Bečej Map Poster & Print
Bečej is on the Tisa river in the Bačka region of Vojvodina, directly across the water from Novi Bečej. The land around it is almost perfectly flat, and the map reflects that. Long straight roads, rectangular fields and a town plan that spreads out comfortably into the plain, with no need to climb or crowd, give it an open, horizontal feel.
The Great Bačka Canal, part of the wider Danube–Tisa–Danube canal system, runs to the town and joins the Tisa there, so the map is framed by water on more than one side. In the centre, broad streets and a main square with churches of different denominations reflect the town's mixed Hungarian and Serbian population.
A short drive away stands Fantast, a manor built for the Dunđerski family among open farmland and horse paddocks. A Bečej map poster works as a study in horizontal landscape: the curving river, the ruler-straight canal, the calm, wide streets between them and the orderly patchwork of Pannonian fields beyond.

Great Bačka Canal
The canal crosses the plain in a long straight line to join the Tisa at the town, a man-made counterpart to the river's looser curves.
Wide town streets
The centre is laid out with generous streets and a spacious main square, typical of Pannonian market towns, while the outer blocks fade into gardens and fields.

A map of Bečej suits anyone who knows the slow light and long horizons of the Vojvodina plain. The river and canal make it a graphic, balanced composition that reads well even from across the room.
