Berja Map Poster & Print
Berja lies in the province of Almería, in the foothills where the Sierra de Gádor meets the western edge of the Alpujarra. Its history reaches back to Roman times, when it was known as Vergi. Today the town looks down across a wide valley toward the coastal plain, where greenhouses spread toward the sea.
From above, the older centre shows a dense web of irregular streets, with small squares and lanes that follow the shape of the land. Around it, newer districts are more regular, and roads fan out across the valley. Higher up, dry mountain slopes leave the map almost empty.
A Berja map poster brings these layers together: the Andalusian old town, the cultivated plain and the bare sierra. The contrast between crowded streets and open mountainside makes the print quietly dramatic, a portrait of a town set between mountain and coast.

The mountain range rises above the town, and its dry slopes appear as open space broken only by occasional tracks.

Below Berja, the land opens toward the coast, crossed by roads and filled with farmland that stretches toward the Mediterranean.
