Damodar valley
The Damodar River runs through the area and adds a long, winding natural line. It sets off the straighter roads and rail tracks around it.

Bermo Map Poster
Bermo is in Bokaro district of Jharkhand, in the coal-bearing Damodar valley. Its map does not look like a single compact town. Mining has shaped it, so there are separate residential colonies, industrial areas and open-cast workings spread across the landscape and linked by roads and rail lines.
The Damodar River runs through the region and gives the map a strong natural line among the more angular industrial shapes. Housing clusters sit near the mines and along the main roads. Between them lie large areas of worked ground and open land, which appear on the poster as broad, pale spaces.
A Bermo map poster shows a place defined by work. Its geography comes from coal seams, railway sidings and the settlements built to serve them. For families who have spent generations in the coalfield, the scattered, patchwork layout is exactly what home looks like, and it rarely appears on a wall.

Mining colonies
Residential areas form separate clusters near the mines instead of one continuous town. On the poster they appear as islands of street detail across the valley.
Rail and haul roads
Rail lines and roads connect mines, colonies and markets. They draw long, purposeful lines that tie the scattered pieces of Bermo together.

དོན་དག་ཡོད་པའི་ས་ཁྲ།
Bermo matters to mining families, engineers and anyone raised in a coalfield colony. A map of the area records a working life and a childhood in a place that most maps and souvenirs overlook.
You can add a title, subtitle and date, for example a colony name or the year a parent started work, and choose from Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand.
