Bezons lies in the Val-d'Oise department, on the right bank of the Seine northwest of Paris. The river forms its eastern edge, curving through one of the great meanders that loop across the western suburbs. On the map, the town is a dense patch of streets pressed against the water, with the towers of La Défense not far beyond the opposite bank.
The Pont de Bezons carries a main road across the Seine and has long been the town's link to Paris. Since 2012 the T2 tramway has ended at the bridge, bringing the line from La Défense to the town's doorstep. Away from the river the street pattern mixes older town streets, housing estates and industrial land, typical of the Paris banlieue.

Pont de Bezons
The bridge crosses the Seine into Hauts-de-Seine and today also marks the terminus of tram line T2, which runs from La Défense.
