Hillside old town
The historic centre follows the contours of its slope, so streets bend and cross at irregular angles and form a dense, organic knot in the poster.

Bra Map Poster & Print
Bra rises on a hillside in the province of Cuneo, between the vineyards of the Langhe and the sandy hills of the Roero. Its old centre follows the slope, so the streets curve and step rather than forming a grid. Squares and churches break up the dense blocks, and the higher ground at the Zizzola hill gives the town a green crest above the rooftops.
Bra is where the Slow Food movement began in 1986, and the town hosts the biennial cheese fair that draws producers from many countries. It also gives its name to Bra, a cow's milk cheese from the area. Nearby Pollenzo, a frazione of Bra, is home to the University of Gastronomic Sciences.
A Bra map poster captures the contrast between the compact historic core on the hill and the flatter, more regular newer districts spreading toward the plain. Main roads and the railway run along the lower ground, while the old town's curving lanes create a dense, textured centre.

Zizzola hill
Green higher ground above the town adds an open patch among the streets, a small pause in an otherwise closely built map.
Plain and railway
Toward the lower ground, newer districts fall into straighter blocks along the railway and main roads leading out toward Alba and Turin.
