Chandrapura Map Poster & Print
Chandrapura is in Bokaro district in Jharkhand, in the coal and industrial belt of the Damodar valley. From above, the town is dominated by the Chandrapura Thermal Power Station, whose buildings, ash ponds and rail sidings take up a large area. Around it, residential colonies with regular street layouts sit beside older, more organic settlements.
The power station, run by the Damodar Valley Corporation, is the reason for much of the town's planned layout, and the staff housing areas appear as orderly blocks of streets. The Damodar river flows nearby, and the surrounding land mixes forest, farmland and mining areas typical of the Chota Nagpur plateau.
A Chandrapura map poster shows an unusual composition: large industrial shapes, planned residential grids and a river valley all in one frame. It suits people who lived or worked here, and anyone interested in how industry shapes the form of a town.

Planned colonies
Staff housing areas follow orderly grids and curved streets, clearly distinct from the irregular layout of the older neighbourhoods nearby.
Rail sidings
Railway lines and sidings serve the plant and the region, adding long straight lines that cross the landscape around the town.

Many families have spent years in Chandrapura because of the power station, and this map records the colony and streets they called home. Its mix of industry and housing makes a strong, graphic print.
Set your own title, a subtitle such as the years you lived here, and the coordinates. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand; Blueprint fits the industrial theme especially well.
