Old village core
The original settlement survives as a cluster of narrow, irregular lanes, the densest and oldest part of the map among newer surrounding development.

Chhiri Map Poster & Print
Chhiri lies in Valsad district in southern Gujarat, beside the industrial city of Vapi. The map records a place in transition. An older village core of irregular lanes sits alongside newer housing blocks built as industry drew workers into the area, and the two patterns meet with little space between them.
Main roads and the rail corridor that run through this part of Gujarat pass nearby, linking the Vapi area with Surat to the north and Mumbai to the south. Industrial estates occupy large regular plots, while fields, ponds and small watercourses still appear between the built-up areas, a reminder of how recently much of this land was farmland.
A Chhiri map poster shows this mix honestly: tight old lanes, the straight lines of new development and the larger shapes of industry and transport. In black and white the result has a strong graphic character, and it is a meaningful record for the many people who have settled here from across India to build their lives.

New residential blocks
Housing built for the growing workforce forms straighter, more regular streets, clearly different in rhythm from the older lanes nearby.
Industrial edges
Large industrial plots and major transport routes of the Vapi belt border the town, adding broad, geometric shapes to the composition.

Many people who live in Chhiri arrived from elsewhere for work and built a home here. A map of the town marks that chapter, the first flat or the street where children grew up, and suits a living room or an office wall.
