Chicacao Map Poster & Print
Chicacao is a municipality in the department of Suchitepéquez, on the Pacific side of Guatemala. It lies in the band of land between the volcanic highlands and the coastal plain, where the ground slopes gradually toward the ocean. On a map the town appears as a compact grid of blocks, surrounded by agricultural land and crossed by roads leading to neighbouring towns.
The territory around it is largely rural, with farms, plantations and scattered communities connected by lanes. Streams run down from higher ground toward the south, cutting shallow lines across the landscape. The town's grid, typical of Guatemalan municipal centres, is organised around a central plaza and church.
A Chicacao map poster shows this quiet structure: an orderly centre, a ring of rural roads and the fine lines of streams moving downhill. It is a modest and specific image, best suited to people who know the town and want its outline on the wall.

Downhill streams
Watercourses run from the highlands toward the coast, drawing thin, roughly parallel lines through the farmland around the town.
Rural roads
Lanes and minor roads spread out from the centre to outlying communities, giving the map a branching, open pattern.
