Cleburne Map Poster & Print
Cleburne is the seat of Johnson County, south of Fort Worth, and takes its name from the Confederate general Patrick Cleburne. It grew as a railroad town, and the rail lines still help explain the map. The downtown grid is aligned to them, and the courthouse square stands at its centre in the traditional Texas county-seat pattern.
Beyond the older blocks, the grid gives way to curving residential streets and larger commercial parcels along the highways. To the southwest, Lake Pat Cleburne provides a broad patch of open water, and Cleburne State Park lies farther out in the wooded hills. Together they soften the straight lines of the town.
A Cleburne map poster suits locals, people who moved away to the Metroplex and keep a connection to the county, and anyone who likes the orderly logic of small Texas towns. In black and white, the square, the rail corridor and the lake make a clear, balanced composition.

Rail corridor
Railroad lines cut through the town at a diagonal to the compass. The older street grid follows their angle, a lasting sign of Cleburne's origins as a railroad town.
Lake Pat Cleburne
The lake southwest of town forms a large open shape among the streets and fields. It balances the dense grid with a calm expanse of water.
