Comino Map Poster & Print
Comino is a small limestone plateau in the channel between Malta and Gozo, with steep, broken edges. From above it has hardly any streets, only a few footpaths and tracks crossing low scrub, plus a handful of buildings. Most of the detail on the map comes from the coastline, which folds into small coves, sea caves and inlets.
The best-known of these is the Blue Lagoon, a shallow channel between Comino and the even smaller islet of Cominotto. Its clear water draws boats from both main islands in summer. On the south-western cliffs stands St Mary's Tower, built by the Knights of St John in the early seventeenth century to watch over the channel.
A Comino map poster is mostly sea and outline, framed by the ends of its two larger neighbours. The island has only a very small permanent population, and much of it is a protected nature area. The ferries between Malta and Gozo pass close by on their regular crossings.

St Mary's Tower
A square Knights-era watchtower on the south-western cliffs, placed to overlook the Gozo channel. It is one of the few built structures on the island.
Cut coastline
Limestone cliffs broken by small bays and caves all around the edge. They give the island its irregular, jagged outline.

དོན་དག་ཡོད་པའི་ས་ཁྲ།
Comino is often remembered as the day trip of a Maltese holiday, a boat ride, a swim in the lagoon and a walk up to the tower. A poster of its small, rough outline in open water is a quiet reminder of that day.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, and choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Digital HD files cost $9 in six print sizes, and printed posters ship from partners in more than thirty countries.
