Two historic cores
Cornaredo and San Pietro all'Olmo each keep a compact old centre, giving the map two distinct points of focus instead of a single downtown.

Cornaredo Map Poster & Print
Cornaredo lies just west of Milan, in the flat Lombard plain where the metropolitan area begins to loosen into fields. On a map it is not one centre but several: the historic core of Cornaredo itself and the separate frazione of San Pietro all'Olmo, each with its own church square and cluster of older streets.
Around those cores, postwar and more recent housing fills in the gaps, while main roads and motorway links tie the town to Milan and the surrounding municipalities. To the south and west, agricultural land still shows up as large open parcels crossed by field roads and irrigation lines typical of Lombardy.
A Cornaredo map poster shows how a village became a suburb without losing its outline. The older centres remain readable as tighter, irregular knots of streets, set against the more regular blocks of later growth and the wide spaces of the farmland beyond.

Lombard farmland
Open fields and field roads still surround parts of the town, a reminder of the agricultural plain that once reached right up to Milan.
Metropolitan links
Main roads and motorway connections run past the town, clearly separating it from neighbouring municipalities while tying it into the wider Milan network.
