Corregidor Map Poster & Print
Corregidor guards the entrance to Manila Bay, and its shape is easy to recognise. The high, rounded western end rises from the sea, and the land narrows into a long, low tail pointing east. Roads climb and zigzag across the high ground, then follow the narrow middle of the island toward the tail.
The island was fortified for decades and is best known for the Second World War. American and Filipino forces held it under siege until May 1942, and it was retaken in 1945. Malinta Tunnel, dug into the hill near the island's waist, served as a headquarters and hospital during the siege. Today the island is a memorial and historic site, reached by boat from Manila.
A Corregidor map poster shows a small place with heavy significance. The frame is mostly the water of the bay's entrance, with a compact outline and a network of switchback roads. Because the island is so small, it can be drawn at a scale where every road loop and bend of the coast is visible.

Malinta Hill
Near the narrow middle of the island, the hill containing Malinta Tunnel marks the point where the head meets the tail.
Switchback roads
Roads climb the high ground in tight loops and bends. On a small island these curves become the main visual texture of the map.

དོན་དག་ཡོད་པའི་ས་ཁྲ།
Corregidor is a place of remembrance for veterans' families, students of the Pacific War and Filipinos who know its story. The outline is a quiet, respectful way to mark that connection without imagery of conflict.
The title, subtitle and coordinates line can all be changed, for example to add a family name or a date. Choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, as a $9 digital download or a printed poster.
