Crailsheim Map Poster & Print
Crailsheim is in the northeast of Baden-Württemberg, in the Hohenlohe region, on the banks of the Jagst River. On a map, the Jagst runs through the town in gentle curves, lined by green space. The centre is on its bank, and the town has grown out from there in all directions onto the surrounding plateau.
Crailsheim was very badly damaged at the end of the Second World War, and much of the centre was rebuilt afterwards. The street pattern follows the old layout in places, but the buildings are mostly post-war. The town is also an important railway junction, and several lines meet here. Their tracks and sidings form a large, clearly visible feature on the map.
A Crailsheim map poster shows a town defined by its river and its railway. The soft curves of the Jagst and the straight lines of the tracks meet near the centre. Around them, residential areas and industrial zones extend in a mix of older and newer street patterns.

Railway junction
Several railway lines converge at Crailsheim. Their tracks and the station area form a broad band of straight lines that is easy to spot on the map.
Rebuilt centre
The old centre was largely rebuilt after 1945. It keeps parts of the historic street layout, even though most of the buildings date from after the war.
