Csongrád Map Poster & Print
Csongrád lies on the Great Hungarian Plain, on the right bank of the Tisza, near where the Körös flows into it. On the map, water shapes much of the town: the wide curve of the Tisza, the mouth of the Körös, backwaters and flood embankments. The streets sit on higher ground a little back from the river.
The town is known for its Belváros, the old fishermen's quarter near the river, with low whitewashed houses and thatched roofs along narrow lanes. Some are protected as folk architecture. Near the confluence, the Körös-torok beach draws crowds in summer. Beyond the town, flat farmland stretches out with the long, straight roads typical of the Alföld.
A Csongrád map poster sets a tight, irregular street pattern against the smooth curves of two rivers. The fishermen's quarter appears as a small cluster of lanes close to the water, while the newer town opens into broader blocks. The embankments and oxbow lakes add soft lines that make the river side of the sheet especially rich.

Fishermen's quarter
The old Belváros is a cluster of narrow, crooked lanes by the river. Its fine, irregular pattern stands out against the straighter streets elsewhere.
Embankments and backwaters
Flood dikes and oxbow lakes trace the river's former and present course, adding layered, flowing lines along the edge of town.

Csongrád is a town people remember through its river, the summers on the beach and the old houses near the water. A map print keeps that shape of town and water in a clear, uncluttered form.
You can write your own title and subtitle, such as a family name or the summer you spent here, and change the coordinates line. There are five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Printed posters are available in six sizes.
