Refinery grounds
The historic refinery, operating since 1901, appears as a distinct cluster of lines and service roads, the industrial heart around which the town grew.

Digboi Map Poster & Print
Digboi lies in the Tinsukia district of upper Assam, near the foothills that lead toward Arunachal Pradesh. It is one of the oldest oil towns in the world. Crude was struck here in the late nineteenth century, and the Digboi refinery, commissioned in 1901, is regarded as the oldest operating refinery in Asia. A popular local story links the name to the cry 'dig, boy, dig'.
The town's layout reflects that industrial past. Rather than a dense grid, Digboi spreads across low hills in a loose network of winding roads. Refinery installations, company housing, a golf course and residential areas are spaced apart by trees. Tea gardens and forest surround it, so the built-up area appears as islands in green space.
A Digboi map poster turns that scattered pattern into a graceful drawing. Roads curve along the contours, the refinery forms a distinct block of tightly packed lines, and the edges dissolve into open country. It is an unusual portrait of the place where India's oil history began.

Hill roads
Streets wind along the slopes rather than following a grid, linking scattered neighbourhoods and giving the map its soft, flowing character.
Forest and tea
Woodland and tea gardens surround the town and fill the gaps between its districts, leaving generous open space across the print.

དོན་དག་ཡོད་པའི་ས་ཁྲ།
Digboi has a strong pull for those who grew up in its oil company colonies or worked at the refinery, and for anyone interested in industrial history. A map of the town keeps that heritage on the wall in a restrained, modern form.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line and choose one of five styles; Noir and Blueprint suit the industrial theme. Files come as 300 DPI PNG and print-ready PDF in six sizes, or you can order a printed poster.
