Edavai Map Poster & Print
Edavai, also written Edava, is a village in the Thiruvananthapuram district of Kerala, just north of the cliff-lined coast at Varkala. From above it forms a narrow band of settlement between the Arabian Sea and a backwater lake, with houses, coconut groves and small roads filling the land in between.
The coastline is the defining feature on the map, a long, smooth line of beach running north and south. Inland, the lake and its connecting channels create a second, softer edge, and the railway line along this part of Kerala threads through the village near the coast.
An Edavai map poster captures this layering of sea, land and backwater. The narrow strip of streets between two bodies of water gives the composition a distinctive shape, and the sense of calm that comes from so much open water on both sides suits the quiet, minimal style of a black-and-white print.

Backwater lake
Inland, a lake and its channels form a second, winding edge, typical of Kerala's backwater landscape and a soft contrast to the straight coast.
Village between waters
Roads, homes and groves fill the narrow land between sea and lake, giving the map a delicate, elongated shape.
