Elektrostal’ Map Poster & Print
Elektrostal’ lies about fifty kilometres east of Moscow, in a landscape of flat forest and small rivers. From above, the layout clearly reflects planning: wide, straight avenues, large rectangular residential blocks with buildings set around shared courtyards, and extensive industrial sites that take up whole sections of the map.
The town grew in the twentieth century around a metallurgical plant that produced high-quality electric steel, and the name refers directly to that. Heavy engineering and nuclear fuel production are still part of the local economy. It received town status in 1938 and has kept the organised structure of a Soviet industrial town ever since.
An Elektrostal’ map poster is about order and scale. The avenues divide the town into clearly defined districts, the factory grounds appear as large, finely lined blocks, and the forest around the edges surrounds the whole composition in open space. For anyone who grew up here, the map will look instantly familiar.

Industrial grounds
The metallurgical and engineering plants take up large areas, with their own internal roads and rail sidings, and appear on the map as dense, geometric blocks.
Forest edge
Woodland surrounds the town on most sides. On the poster, it appears as calm open space around the compact, ordered urban area.

དོན་དག་ཡོད་པའི་ས་ཁྲ།
People from Elektrostal’ often feel a particular loyalty to the town’s ordered streets and courtyards. A map poster turns that familiar layout into a clean graphic that suits a modern home far from the factory gates.
Use the title, subtitle and coordinates to name a street, a school year or a family. Then choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Noir brings out the town’s industrial side.
