Elst Map Poster & Print
Elst lies in the Betuwe, the fertile river land between the Nederrijn and the Waal, roughly halfway between Arnhem and Nijmegen. The map shows a compact old centre around the church, surrounded by newer residential districts, with the railway running through town and the flat countryside divided into long narrow plots.
The Grote Kerk in the centre stands on a remarkable site: excavations beneath it uncovered the remains of Gallo-Roman temples, showing that the spot was important long before the town took shape. Today Elst belongs to the municipality of Overbetuwe and is known in the region for fruit growing.
An Elst map poster combines several patterns: the older streets around the church, planned residential neighbourhoods, the straight railway and motorway lines, and the narrow fields and drainage ditches of the Betuwe. Together they create a detailed yet calm print that reads clearly at any size.

Railway through town
The line between Arnhem and Nijmegen runs straight through Elst, with the station close to the centre, drawing a firm line across the map.
Betuwe field pattern
Around the town, long narrow plots, orchards and ditches form the characteristic striped landscape of the Dutch river country, fine and even in print.

དོན་དག་ཡོད་པའི་ས་ཁྲ།
Elst is a place where many people commute from, grow up in or return to, between two larger cities. A map of the town shows where home sits in that landscape of rivers, rails and orchards.
You can personalise the title and subtitle with a name or a date and edit the coordinates line. Then choose from five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Paper suits the calm, flat Betuwe.
