Numbered street grid
Streets cross at right angles and go by numbers, not names, so the centre reads as a close pattern of rectangles that is rare for a town on this coast.

Espinho Map Poster & Print
Espinho sits on the Atlantic coast a short way south of Porto, and from above it looks unusually orderly for a Portuguese town. Its streets are laid out as a grid and are known by numbers rather than names. Blocks of similar size run from the sand inland in tidy rows, and the coast is an almost straight line along the western edge of the sheet.
That regular plan dates from the town's growth as a bathing resort, when holidaymakers from Porto and the interior came for the sea air. The railway along the coast shaped the centre for more than a century. It has since been moved underground through the middle of town, and the surface corridor it left behind is still visible as a long band cutting through the grid.
An Espinho map poster makes the most of that geometry. The printed lines have few curves, so the eye picks up the rhythm of the blocks, the clean coastline and the way the grid softens into looser streets and fields to the east. It is a calm, architectural composition that suits people who like order as much as the sea.

Atlantic shoreline
The western edge is a long, nearly straight line of beach. The dense grid stops sharply at the sand, which gives the poster a strong edge.
Railway corridor
The coastal railway runs north to south through town, and the route it takes through the centre still shows clearly as a long, straight strip across the blocks.

དོན་དག་ཡོད་པའི་ས་ཁྲ།
For people who grew up with summers on this coast, or who still take the train down from Porto for the beach, Espinho's grid is familiar. A framed map keeps those walks between numbered streets on the wall.
Add your own title, a subtitle such as a family surname or a year, and a coordinates line. Then choose one of five styles, from Classic black & white to the warmer Sand, which works well with a beach town.
