Central grid
The heart of town is a regular pattern of rectangular blocks around a central square. It is the clearest, most ordered part of the map and anchors the whole design.

Espinosa Map Poster & Print
Espinosa is in the far north of Minas Gerais, close to the state line with Bahia. The surrounding landscape is semi-arid sertão: open country with scrub, farmland and long dirt roads. The town itself stands out as a compact, deliberate shape in that openness, with streets laid out in blocks around a central area and a main road passing through.
Many towns in inland Brazil follow a similar plan, and Espinosa's map shows it clearly. The core is a regular grid with a church square, and the neighbourhoods at the edges become looser as they meet the fields. Beyond them, rural roads spread out towards farms and smaller settlements. Their lines are straight where the land is flat and they bend where it rises.
An Espinosa map poster keeps the picture simple and honest: a town that grew outward from its centre in steady rectangular blocks, surrounded by the wide spaces of the northern Minas interior. There are no crowded skylines or complicated coastlines here. The result is a quiet, balanced composition, and people with roots in the town will know every corner of it.

Loosening edges
Near the outskirts, the blocks become less regular and more spread out. Streets end or turn into rural tracks, and you can see where the town gives way to the countryside.
Sertão roads
Long rural roads leave town across open, dry land towards farms and neighbouring places. They are thin, far-reaching lines that give the poster a feeling of distance.

དོན་དག་ཡོད་པའི་ས་ཁྲ།
For those who have left the interior of Minas Gerais for larger cities, a map of Espinosa is a way to keep the home town close: the square, the family street, the road out of town. Its simple grid looks calm on a wall.
You can personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, for example with a surname or a year of birth. Choose from five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Sand and Paper suit the dry landscape.
