Fécamp Map Poster & Print
Fécamp lies on the Alabaster Coast of Normandy, where a valley cuts through the high chalk cliffs to the sea. From above, the town fills the valley floor, with the harbour and its basins extending inland from the channel. The streets climb the slopes on both sides, and the cliff edge runs away to the north and south in long straight lines.
The town has long been a fishing port, historically associated with cod fishing off Newfoundland. The Abbey of the Holy Trinity was a major pilgrimage site in the Middle Ages. Fécamp is also home to the Palais Bénédictine, where the Bénédictine liqueur is produced. Cap Fagnet, above the harbour, offers a view along the cliffs.
A Fécamp map poster shows a town defined by its break in the coastline. The chalk cliffs appear as a sharp edge, the harbour basins as clean geometric shapes, and the streets fill the valley between the hills. In monochrome, the contrast between sea, cliff and town is strong. It is a distinctive map of the Normandy coast.

Fécamp is for people who have walked the cliff paths of the Alabaster Coast, sailed into its harbour, or have family ties to its fishing past. The map captures a coastal town at its most characteristic.
Add a title, subtitle and coordinates line, perhaps the date of a summer spent there. Pick one of five styles and order a printed poster with an optional wooden frame, or $9 digital files.
