Fontana Map Poster & Print
Fontana lies in San Bernardino County, in the broad valley between Los Angeles and the mountains of the Inland Empire. Its map is a textbook Southern California grid: long, straight arterials running north–south and east–west at regular intervals, with curving residential streets filling the squares between them. Interstate 10 and the 210 freeway cross the city, and the land rises steadily toward the foothills.
The city began in the early twentieth century as a farming colony of citrus groves, vineyards and poultry ranches. During the Second World War, Henry J. Kaiser built a large steel mill here, and Fontana became an industrial town. The mill has since closed, but its former site and the rail corridors that served it still shape the southern part of the map.
A Fontana map poster makes the most of that regularity. At poster scale the grid becomes a quiet pattern of repeated blocks, broken by freeway interchanges, flood channels and the occasional diagonal rail line. It suits long-time residents, families who bought their first house here, and anyone who knows the drive along Sierra Avenue by heart.

Freeway corridors
Interstate 10 and the 210 freeway draw bold horizontal lines across the city, and their interchanges form the most intricate shapes on the poster.
Foothill slope
Toward the north the grid meets the rising foothills, where streets begin to curve and thin out below the San Gabriel Mountains.

དོན་དག་ཡོད་པའི་ས་ཁྲ།
Fontana is a place people choose, often for a first home with a yard. A map of it marks that decision: the neighbourhood, the school run, the route to the freeway. It is modest, precise and personal.
Set a custom title, add a subtitle such as a move-in date, and edit the coordinates line. Five styles are available, including Noir and Sand. The $9 download includes 18×24″ and 24×36″ along with metric sizes, or you can order a printed poster.
