Town grid
The centre follows a regular grid of rectangular blocks, a pattern common to towns founded in southern Chile, and it reads crisply at any print size.

Freire Map Poster & Print
Freire lies in the Araucanía Region of southern Chile, a short drive south of Temuco along Route 5, the Chilean section of the Pan-American Highway. The town is laid out as a modest grid beside the highway. From above it looks like a tidy block of streets in a wide rural landscape of fields and scattered farms.
The commune around it is agricultural, with fields, pasture and patches of woodland stretching toward rivers that come down from the Andes to the east. Mapuche communities have long lived in this part of the region. The commune is also home to La Araucanía International Airport, which serves Temuco.
A Freire map poster shows a small, orderly grid with the long straight line of the highway running beside it, and rural roads and river channels spreading into the countryside. The composition is spare and balanced, which suits anyone who prefers open space to dense detail on the wall.

Route 5
The Pan-American Highway runs past the town as a strong straight line. It is the route that ties Freire to Temuco in the north and to the south of the country.
Rivers and fields
Beyond the grid, rural roads cross open farmland and river channels, creating a quieter pattern that fills the outer frame.
